Alive at Five History Page

Since kicking off in 1990 with a spellbinding performance by the late, great folk artist Richie Havens (who also famously opened the original Woodstock festival), Albany's Alive at Five Concert Series has hosted Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Grammy winners and local favorites alike. For the first time, we've made the full band-by-band history of Alive at Five available. It's a musical time capsule that we hope will bring back a few great memories. Click the logos below to view a list of each decade's Alive at Five performers. Please contact us if you have any corrections or information to add to the archive!
