2026 Alive at Five Summer Concert Series

June 4, 11, 18, 25; July 9, 16

Alive at Five Summer Concert Series is located at Tricentennial Park, located on Broadway in Downtown Albany. 

Rain site is located at Corning Preserve Boat Launch under the 787 Bridge! Decisions made on Wednesday by 2pm.

Albany’s signature free concert series premiered in the summer of 1990 with a performance by legendary folk artist Richie Havens, band has since grown into a staple of summer in the Capital Region. Showcasing a diverse lineup of big names, up-and-coming acts and the region’s most talented original artists, Alive at Five offers six weeks of free, critically acclaimed performances catering to nearly every taste.

PARKING 

Event parking for Alive at Five will be available at the nearby Quackenbush Garage (25 Orange St.) and Riverfront Garage (2 Columbia St.) for $8.00 starting at 4pm

ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING RESTRICTIONS 

Road Closures will be in effect on the event dates from 7AM through 10PM, unless the show is moved to the rain location at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch under the 787 bridge. 

  • Broadway between Columbia Street and Pine Street
  • Steuben Street between James Street and Broadway

Parking Restrictions will be in place on the event dates from 5AM until 10PM.

  • Broadway both sides from Van Tromp Street and Pine Street
  • Steuben Street both sides between James Street and Broadway
  • James Street both sides between Columba Street and Pine Street
  • Columbia Street both sides between James Street and Broadway
  • VanTromp Street both sides between Broadway and N. Pearl Street
  • Quay Street east side between Pedestrian Bridge by Visitor Center buildings north to Corning Preserve entrance (event vendor parking)
  • Rain Site Area: Boat Launch Parking Lot off Water Street, the entire parking lot will be posted and restricted for the dates of these events

Handicap Parking will be available at the following locations:

  • Pine Street, on the south side from James Street to Broadway
  • Broadway, west side from Pine Street south 10 spaces (angle parking area)

Special ground rules in effect: No alcoholic beverages, coolers, backpacks, bags, containers, packages, thermoses, cups, bottles, cans, flasks, glass containers of any kind, recording of performances, animals or pets (excluding ADA-defined service animals). All City of Albany parks are now tobacco-free. Security personnel reserve the right to inspect any bag, container or package and confiscate any prohibited or illegal items. Any type of recording of the performance or presentation is prohibited without prior written consent. All attendees should be prepared to present age identification at any time if they intend to consume alcohol. Ground rules are subject to change without notice; exceptions made for medical or childcare reasons may be addressed individually.
